I think that Mybook is a very good tool to get out information to the masses, especially if you are a celebrity trying to raise money. The power that a celebrity has to get others involved always seems to blow my mind. If a celebrity is a humanitarian, this person raises so much money just by Tweeting or making a comment on Myspace or Facebook. For instance, at Christmas time, a celebrity said they were going to participate in a Toys for Tots drive, and it was a big success. In that respect, I think we are using technology the right way, especially celebrities. On the other hand, I think some people misuse the technology and will Facebook or Myspace their mom what they want for dinner. This has made the world a smaller place, yet less connection and face to face connection. We have become lazy Americans. But, in my opinion, the media takes it too far sometimes also, because Sportscenter shows everyone's Tweets when someone makes a big shot, or when something bad happens.
